About Rick Kelley

Rick Kelley has been a mortgage banker and broker for the last 20 years.  He is a CMPS, Certified Mortgage Planner Specialist, a national certification.  During that time he has originated over 2,000 loans and helped many individuals and families with home purchases and refinances.   He has trained and administered other loan officers in Underwriting Guidelines and Mortgage Qualification.    He is a Founding Partner of HomeStone Mortgage and the Branch Manager of our Port Townsend office.

Having been an educator, Rick prides himself on ensuring that his clients are both knowledgeable of mortgage products and confident in the process of home finance, essentials for successful home financing.   In fact Rick continues to teach classes to prospective home buyers and real estate investors.   Rick is an investor himself and brings not only product knowledge but also hands on personal experience as a landlord.

His belief that his client is the most important person is evident in the time he takes with each person's loan.    As their advocate, he informs them of numerous strategies that can be used both for their current financing needs but also in the long term creation of his client's financial health and happiness.
